Blood cells are very important for human body. Each type of blood cells play very vital role. Red blood cells transport oxygen to all tissues of body and bring back carbon dioxide which then sent out of body. White cells are building blocks of human immune system. Immune system protects our body against harmful substances and saves us against diseases attacks. Lack of white cells means that our body is more exposed to diseases. Platelets are useful bodies which are responsible for blood clotting in case of bleeding.

All the cells are produced in bone marrow. Blood cells pass through various intermediate stages before converting into red cells, white cells or platelets. Due to some fault, the DNA of immature cells becomes corrupt. As a result of this fault, body starts to produce abnormal cells and these cells are produced at a rapid speed. Mostly this problem occurs with white blood cells. These abnormal cells replace most of the normal cells.
